Thanks to an excellent attendee list from Quartz, I did a little research. The results are below, and reveal the preponderance of chief communications officers and corporate relations directors. That is unsurprising, given the close links between such executives and the CEOs that they work for. In terms of companies, the usual suspects are represented along with many major companies from emerging markets.

​The agency world, meanwhile, is certainly better represented than it once was — drawn, no doubt, by the plentiful networking opportunities and, for some, actual participation in the Forum agenda. Unfortunately, though, in keeping with one of the criticisms of this year’s Davos turnout, agency representation is dominated by men. Thankfully, there are a few more women among the in-house ranks, although still not enough.
