The Holmes Report's 2016 Global Events Calendar

The Holmes Report has unveiled its 2016 global events calendar, which includes further expansion into EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.

New conferences will include a particular focus on emerging markets in Africa, the Middle East and Europe. After already announcing our partnership with the African Public Relations Association to expand the presence of the SABRE Awards in that region, we will also bring our popular In2 Innovation Summit series to South Africa in March of next year.

In addition, the Holmes Report will host a PR industry thinktank in Moscow next June, and is close to confirming an emerging markets-themed PR summit to take place in Dubai during Q2 of 2016.

"Our mission has always been to share knowledge and ideas globally," says Holmes Report founder and CEO Paul Holmes. "That doesn't mean exporting ideas from the established markets like the US and the UK to the rest of the world, it means finding innovation and thought leadership in every market, and making it available in every market. And there's no doubt that more and more interesting ideas are coming out of what were once thought of as 'emerging' markets, like Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Eastern Europe. We want to be there to discover and cover those ideas."

The new events add to the Holmes Report's existing lineup of conferences and awards, which in 2016 will feature the North American In2Summit and In2 SABRE Awards in San Francisco; the North American SABRE Awards in New York; the EMEA In2Summit & SABRE Awards in Berlin; the SABRE Awards South Asia in New Delhi; the SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific in Hong Kong; the Latin American SABRE Awards and In2Summit in Sao Paulo, and the Global PR Summit in Miami.
