NEW YORK, May 28—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide will be recognized as The Holmes Report’s Agency of the Year at our inaugural SABRE Awards dinner. The award recognizes Ogilvy’s achievements in the year 2000, during which it grew 36 percent and established itself as a leader in the two fastest-growing sectors of the public relations business: technology and healthcare.
Ogilvy beat out finalists including Fleishman-Hillard, BSMG Worldwide, and Edelman Public Relations Worldwide to become the first Agency of the Year named by The Holmes Report, which was launched in January of this year. Profiles of these firms and more than 150 others will appear in The Holmes Report’s Clients’ Guide to Public Relations Firms, a special print issue of this publication that will be published in June.
