SAN FRANCISCO—Therative has retained GolinHarris as its public relations agency, with the account led from its San Francisco office. Golin will support the launch of ThermaClear, the company’s new FDA-cleared acne treatment device and will be responsible for developing brand building strategies, new product introductions, media relations, word-of-mouth marketing, and acne treatment and skincare maintenance communications.

“We were looking for an agency with a proven track record in developing major consumer brands,” says Peter Scocimara, CEO of Therative. “GolinHarris met those key requirements, but also impressed us with its creativity and its Web relations savvy that will help build awareness for the ThermaClear brand.”

Therative is also working with marketing agency Carat Fusion as its key partner for integrated media strategy and planning.
