SAN FRANCISCO, February 14—Technology public relations specialist Schwartz Communications has promoted Gary Thompson to general manager of its San Francisco office.

Since joining Schwartz in 2000, Thompson has been one of the architects of the success of the firm’s west coast office, introducing new value-added programs including a brand management practice, which assists companies in developing an integrated corporate vision.
