SINGAPORE—Huntsworth Health public relations agency Tonic Life Communications has opened a Singapore office. Singapore is the firm’s second office in Asia and the team will work closely with the Hong Kong operation, established earlier this year, to service clients across the Asia-Pacific region.

Rae Chew has been appointed managing director of Tonic Life Communications Singapore and will be working closely with the regional and global management team at Tonic as well as the broader Huntsworth network in the Asia-Pacific region. Rae has more than 10 years of PR agency experience, establishing the healthcare practices for leading PR consultancies including Edelman, Ruder Finn and GolinHarris.

“Huntsworth Health is continuing to implement its global expansion plan by establishing offices where our international clients need our support and we are using Tonic Life Communications as the springboard for what will become a multi-channel service offering in the Asia-Pacific region”, stated Neil Matheson, CEO Huntsworth Health.  “Other members of our family of best-in-class agencies will be able to build on the Tonic presence in the coming months.”

Tonic Life Communications was started in 2004 by healthcare public relations veteran Scott Clark and acquired by Huntsworth in July 2009.
