BOSTON—Topaz Partners, a specialist in technology public relations, has launched a marketing technology practice, which will draw on the agency’s experience, contacts and services for companies offering technology and business solutions for marketers and advertisers.

Topaz has recently added a number of new clients and project assignments in the marketing technology sector, working with Prospero Technologies to raise the visibility of the company’s social media solutions, which enable leading brands to integrate interactive features throughout their sites. Prospero turned to Topaz for a full service PR program that includes media and analyst relations, a speaking placement program and podcasts focused on timely topics and issues.

Campaigner, an e-mail marketing solutions provider, and Balihoo, a knowledge management solution for the media planning and buying industry, also recently began working with Topaz.

“A number of our clients are at the forefront of a major marketing shift, as companies find new ways to communicate with their target audiences,” says Paula Slotkin, co-founder and principal partner, Topaz Partners. “Businesses of all sizes must have a broader marketing strategy, and Topaz is working with some of the most innovative marketing technology companies which provide the solutions necessary, whether it’s an email marketing service for a growing business, or an online community for a major broadcasting company.”
