Torme Makes Lauricella Partner, Changes Agency Name

Deborah Lauricella has been named partner and president of the San Francisco-based marketing and public relations firm formerly known as Torme & Company.

SAN FRANCISCO—Deborah Lauricella has been named partner and president of the San Francisco-based marketing and public relations firm formerly known as Torme & Company. The independent PR firm, which specializes in programs targeting consumers, has changed its name to Torme Lauricella, reflecting the new partnership.

Previously, Lauricella worked as senior public affairs manager of American President Companies, vice president of the APC Foundation and consulted for TRW Financial Systems.

At the same time, the firm has hired Jennifer Quermann as vice president. Quermann previously worked on the corporate side of the business as director of public relations at Keen, Inc. She has also worked with major brands such as Visa USA, Mattel and Levi Strauss & Company, at agencies such as Ketchum and Porter Novelli, and was in a fundraising role for a U.S. Presidential campaign.
