BALTIMORE—Trahan, Burden and Charles, a marketing communications firm with expertise in the consumer and travel and tourism categories, has created a new corporate services division.

According to Sandra Hillman, TBC’s chief executive officer, the new division will offer corporate communication services, including corporate message development, strategic media services, financial media relations, employee communications, crisis counseling and management, and IPO/M&A transaction support.

“Over the last 19 years, TBC Public Relations has established itself as a respected advisor in the consumer arena,” says Hillman. “We are frequently called upon to provide corporate services for our clients, be they publicly traded or privately held companies.  By building such a specialty within the PR department, we are expanding our already-strong strategic and tactical capabilities.”

The new group will be headed by Glenn Jasper, a recent addition to the TBC team who previously served as director of public relations at network solutions provider CIENA Corporation, and New New York-based Judith Sylk-Siegel, a former vice president at Financial Relations Board.
