ATLANTA—Public relations firm Trevelino/Keller has come together with several other marketing and professional services firms to create the Start-Up Council, a partnership that will serve the start-up community.

Other partners include The Enfuse Group, a consulting practice focused on helping high technology companies develop practical results-oriented growth plans; CGA Tech Counsel, a boutique corporate, securities, intellectual property and general counsel law firm; VentureX Group, which provides strategic, financial and operational support to innovative, high growth enterprises; Brandikon, which offers brand identity, collateral development and web/interactive capabilities; The Moreland Group, specialist in building leadership positions for companies in dynamic markets.

“We are seeing tremendous financial resources being put into play for start-up ventures on the West Coast and anticipate that movement hitting the Southeastern region in 2006 and 2007,” says Chris Mangum, Principal, VentureX.

“Start-ups have many mission critical needs early on—contract creation, funding sources, brand identity, marketing strategy, positioning – with little resources or expertise outside their core business,” explains Genna Keller, principal of Trevelino/Keller.  “We want to be a smart, resourceful and financially sensitive destination for the region’s next generation of innovative companies.”
