SAN FRANCISCO—Ruder Finn has been retained by The Trust for Public Land. Ruder Finn will provide a full suite of services including media relations, a speaker’s bureau and thought leadership to build greater public awareness of TPL.

The account will be managed out of the agency’s San Francisco office, Ruder Finn/Switzer, and will be led by managing director Jessica Switzer, and Lisa Duszak, senior account supervisor.

“After evaluating various PR agencies, it was clear Ruder Finn understood our goals and would make an excellent partner,” said Jay Dean, vice president and director of marketing for TPL. “The agency has an outstanding track record of generating results for its clients. We look forward to leveraging these talents to enhance TPL’s reputation and spread our message of land conservation.”

The Trust for Public Land, established in 1972, specializes in conservation real estate, applying its expertise in negotiations, public finance, and law to protect land for people to enjoy as parks, greenways, community gardens, urban playgrounds, and wilderness.
