NEW YORK—TVC Group is plotting US expansion after landing projects from Landrover, Bombay Sapphire and GE.

The content agency, which began operations in New York 12 months ago, is planning to recruit a number of additional staffers this year.

TVC international MD Adam Clyne, who is overseeing the expansion, said that the firm would also seek new offices after co-locating with parent company the Economist Group, which acquired TVC in 2012.

“Many UK agencies have attempted to set up in the US with big ambitious plans without understanding the market first," said Clyne.

"We took the opposite approach and began here with a very understated presence and a strategy to listen and learn. We feel comfortable in our expansion programme and we have a strong pipeline of work booked in for the next 12 months”.

TVC currently counts five staffers in New York, with Clyne aiming to reach a headcount of 10 by the end of 2014. Founded in 1988, TVC is best known for its work on the Red Bull Stratos programme.
