Twelve Partners Acquire Geelmuyden Kiese

The 12 partners of Geelmuyden.Kiese, the largest public relations firm in Norway and one of the largest in the Nordic region, are buying the entire firm from its existing owners following a bid that was accepted by more than 90 per centof the shareholders.

OSLO—The 12 partners of Geelmuyden.Kiese, the largest public relations firm in Norway and one of the largest in the Nordic region, are buying the entire firm from its existing owners following a bid that was accepted by more than 90 per centof the shareholders.

The bid values the company at €4 million. According to managing director Stein Jacob Firsch, “It had been an objective for management to offer a price which takes into account both external shareholders’ interests as well as the partner’s ability to carry the financial burden of a buy-out.”

The 12 partners have established an investment company GK Holding, which will be the legal owner of the shares. The partners are Hans Geelmuyden, Gunnar Mathisen, Pål Heldaas, Ståle Mortensson, Stein Jacob Frisch, Peter Goll, Therese Lindé, Jeppe Veddinge, Sigve Soldal Bjorstad, Dagfinn Fjelddalen, Anne Christel Johnsgaard and Geir Bjørlo.
