NEW YORK— Investor relations specialist FD Morgen has named two executives to its technology practice in New York. Ian Bailey joins as a vice president, charged with helping lead and grow the practice, while Olivia Pirovano was named an associate.

Describing technology as one of FDMW’s “core practices,” CEO and senior managing director Anton Nicholas addes, “Technology companies today face increasingly fierce competition for mind and marketshare and effective communications can be the key differentiating factor between their success and failure. Ian’s deep experience of working with technology companies to navigate these challenges will be a significant asset to FD Morgen-Walke and to our clients.”

Bailey joins from technology specialist FitzGerald Communications, where he ran the group’s West Coast and New York IR and financial communications practices. Earlier, he worked at FDMW sister company Financial Dynamics in London.

A media and technology company specialist, Pirovano was previously a consultant with Financial Dynamics in London and earlier, at ABN AMRO bank.
