NASHVILLE—McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations and Atkinson Public Relations, both based in Nashville, have formed a strategic alliance designed to complement their existing businesses. The firms have ties that started early in their histories: MP&F senior partner David Fox served as vice president at Atkinson before joining his current firm in 1990. And more recently, MP&F and Atkinson teams have worked collectively on client assignments.

Atkinson Public Relations, founded in February 1986, serves local, regional and national clients across a variety of industry sectors. MP&F is a full-service public relations firm specializing in media relations, research and strategic planning and is the largest public relations firm in the state of Tennessee.

“The strong reputations of MP&F and Atkinson will be further enhanced by this alliance,” says Fox. “In cases where there might be potential conflicts, we will continue to service existing clients as we do now; but in other areas, we see tremendous growth potential using synergies of the two firms.”

MP&F has a full-service graphics and Web design staff, which will now be made available to Atkinson, as well as back office and other support services.
