Two Red Hat Execs Join Former Colleagues' Firm

Hats Off Communications, a strategic marketing and communications consulting firm founded by former Red Hat executives Lisa Sullivan and Melissa London, has added two more former members of the early Red Hat marketing team.

WILMINGTON, VT—Hats Off Communications, a strategic marketing and communications consulting firm founded by former Red Hat executives Lisa Sullivan (vice president of marketing communications) and Melissa London, (director of public relations) has added two more former members of the early Red Hat marketing team.

Stacy Doster, former trade show and events manager, has accepted a partnership role in the company, and Hilary Stokes, former product manager for Red Hat flagship product, Red Hat Linux, will begin consultation work with the firm.

Hats Off Communications provides results-oriented public relations and communications programs, integrated marketing programs, grassroots marketing and branding initiatives for high tech or consumer companies. It specializes in product or company launches, awareness campaigns, and event production and promotion.

Sullivan, London, Doster, and Stokes worked together as members of the marketing team at Red Hat, a technology firm that delivers Linux and open source software solutions and were part of the marketing team that took Red Hat public in 1999. Currently Hats Off clients include Lulu Enterprises, TerraServer.com, Alpinist Magazine, and non-profit organizations Community Animal Shelter Association and Vote for America.
