LONDON—Corporate and financial communications firm College Hill has acquired Edinburgh-based corporate communications agency Great Circle. The move is the latest in a series of investments and acquisitions by College Hill over the last year—a month ago it bought life sciences specialist Northbank Communications—and is designed to provide further corporate and environmental expertise, while extending the firm’s reach in Scotland.

Great Circle has handled brand-building assignments for companies such as Tele Atlas, HarperCollins, ESRI, Bank of Scotland Corporate, the University of Stirling and Scottish & Newcastle. On the environmental front it has worked with organizations such as The National Trust for Scotland, Changeworks, The Scottish and Northern Ireland Forum for Environmental Research, Community Recycling Network Scotland and Scotmid.

According to College Hill chairman Alex Sandberg, “Great Circle enables us to extend our services into Scottish markets as well as offering our clients accomplished environmental expertise, an area where our clients are increasingly seeking support.”
