SAN FRANCISCO—Spark Public Relations, one of the fastest-growing technology public relations consultancies in the U.S., has established its first European operation in London to serve several clients based in Europe and an increasing demand for pan-European public relations services from U.S.-based technology companies.

Rachel Bremer, a senior director with the firm, will direct the European office, which will be called SPR Europe. The office will serve clients including Index Ventures, one of Europe’s leading venture capital firms; FON, provider of one of the world’s largest WiFi networks; MOO, which creates products that turn digital photos into printed products; Openads, a developer of free open source advertiser solutions; and Viagogo, one of Europe’s leading secondary ticketing markets, started by Eric Baker, the co-founder of StubHub.

“With our European office now in place, we are able to provide superior global service and have a front row seat to the technical innovation coming out of Europe,” says Bremer. “I’m looking forward to building out our team in London and working closely with the community here.”

Sparkpr also announced today that Tim Smith and Tim Turpin have joined the company in San Francisco, as senior managing director and managing director, respectively. Smith brings over 15 years of experience in technology public relations and consumer marketing joins from OutCast Communications. Turpin has over 15 years experience working with clients in venture capital and clean tech.
