MIAMI—United Way chief marketing officer Vicki Lins and executive director of vision care non-profit OneSight Dr Jason Singh have joined the lineup of speakers at this year’s Global Public Relations Summit, where they will participate in a session focused on From Authenticity to Action: How Two Global Organizations Inspire a Culture of Citizenship.

The session will be led by Citizen Relations and its parent Blue Focus Group and the two speakers will share insights about how to cultivate a culture of citizenship and ignite social change.

As executive vice president and chief marketing officer for United Way, Lins leads teams responsible for global brand strategy, integrated marketing and strategic communications. She has more than 25 years of experience in the media, technology and telecom sectors, having held senior marketing positions with Clear Channel and Comcast. She has particular expertise in the transformation impact of technology on media, advertising and consumer engagement.

Lins is the second prominent CMO to join the lineup of Summit speakers. Former Unilever executive Marc Mathieu, whose participation in the Summit was announced earlier this year, has since been named US chief marketing officer at Samsung.

Singh is responsible for leading all OneSight global and regional programs, including operations, fundraising, and communications. After graduating from The Ohio State University in 1998, he sold all his possessions and moved to Mamelodi, South Africa, to serve as executive medical director for Engage Mamelodi, a program designed to bring sustainable medical care to the under-served people of the post-apartheid township.

Since it began its mission 25 years ago, OneSight has provided vision care access to 8.5 million people worldwide.

Tickets for the Summit are still available at early-bird discount prices until the end of the week.
