NEW YORK—Utopia Communiations, which provides public relations services to “organizations, ideas, people and companies that enhance the human condition and which operate within a strongly principled framework,” has formed a strategic alliance with Parter International, which provides strategic planning and project implementation services for global corporations, governments, and non-profit organizations.

The two firms believe clients will benefit from their combined expertise in corporate citizenship, government affairs, marketing and communications, market studies, and agent search capabilities and hope to add particular value to corporations interested in entering the US market, establishing or expanding sales or operational presence; governments promoting foreign direct investment and trade opportunities; and associations planning and implementing events and business missions.

“Business success in the US requires the ability to quickly build a local presence and become familiar with new markets, suppliers, business practices, and regulations,” says Ann Willets, president of Utopia Communications.

Parter and Utopia have a proven track record of working together and recently completed an assignment for the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to execute a strategic traditional and online communications program centered on publicizing the “Think Asia, Think Hong Kong” symposia held in New York City and Los Angeles.
