Van Pelt to Expand Analyst Relations for H&K in Asia

Myrna Van Pelt, Hill & Knowlton's regional director of technology in Australasia, will take on an expanded brief to develop industry analyst relations initiatives across Asia Pacific in a move designed to deepen the firm's business relationships in the technology sector.

SYDNEY—Myrna Van Pelt, Hill & Knowlton's regional director of technology in Australasia, will take on an expanded brief to develop industry analyst relations initiatives across Asia Pacific in a move designed to deepen the firm's business relationships in the technology sector. At the same time, the firm has promoted Rachel Chan to head its Greater China financial communications practice, and appointed Crystal Dong as director of financial communications in Beijing.

 

Van Pelt has worked at Hill & Knowlton in Sydney for five years and has helped expand the company’s expertise offerings to enterprise and consumer brands. She has 14 years' experience in the sector having worked in-house at Apple and Telstra before joining Hill & Knowlton.

 

Since joining H&K in 2004, Chan has worked on financial deals such as the listing of Alibaba.com, the largest internet IPO since Google, and China Construction Bank, the first of the major mainland banks to list in Hong Kong.
