LOS ANGELES — Public affairs shop Vectis Strategies has brought on former vice chair of the Democratic National Committee Carmen Perez and government advisor Amy Yeager as partners.

In addition to her role on the DNC, Perez was chair of the DNC’s Hispanic Caucus and also served as co-chair of the DNC’s Credentials Committee for two national Democratic Party Conventions. Currently, she serves on the California Latino Legislative Caucus for Public Policy, in addition to several other boards.

Yeager currently operates her own government and public affairs firm, Yeager Consulting Group, specializing in issues before the county and city of Los Angeles as well as other local municipalities and school districts.

Recently, she helped secure AltaSea’s long term lease with the Port of Los Angeles to bring a marine science center to the city. Previous to her lobbying work, Yeager was a senior policy advisor to Los Angeles City Councilman Jose Huizar.

Vectis Partners launched last year as a bi-partisan firm with a national scope.
