Veteran PR Execs Launch Firm Focused on Hispanic Market

Robert Alaniz, Christina Sanchez-Camino and Michael Chee, experts in communication with the Hispanic and Asian-American communities, have formed The Milagro Communications .

LOS ANGELES— Robert Alaniz, Christina Sanchez-Camino and Michael Chee, experts in communication with the Hispanic and Asian-American communities, have formed The Milagro Communications Group, which will offer media and public relations expertise to corporate, government and small to mid-sized clients.

 

Alaniz was most recently vice president of communications and public affairs for The California Endowment, one of the nation’s largest health foundations. Prior to joining The Endowment, he was director of WellPoint’s multicultural and foundation communications.

Chee was senior vice president of media relations for the Western region of Bank of America. Earlier, he served with public relations agencies Hill & Knowlton and GolinHarris.

 

Sanchez Camino previously served 12 years as public affairs director for Univision’s flagship station, KMEX-TV, Channel 34, and also was community affairs director at KWHY-TV, Channel 22.
