LONDON—Vikki Chowney has departed TMW Unlimited to take on the newly-created role of director of content and publishing strategies at H+K Strategies UK.
Chowney was head of social at TMW, which she joined in early 2012. Eight months ago, she was also put in charge of the group’s relaunched Things Unlimited unit.
Prior to TMW, Chowney worked in the media sector at EConsultancy and Reputation Online. Her experience also includes numerous freelance content and influencer management assignments, along with a three-year stint at PR firm Six Degrees.
“As people become increasingly bombarded with information it’s essential to focus and evolve your approach as a brand,” said Chowney. “Compelling content that has purpose and value is key to making an impact, and I’m looking forward to working with the teams at H+K to do that.”
At H+K, Chowney reports to chief creative officer Simon Shaw and UK CEO Richard Millar, the latter of whom noted that Chowney would focus on “creating multi-channel content that tells a brand’s story with impact.”
