Volkswagen Taps MWW for Consumer PR

Volkswagen of America has appointed MWW Group as its lifestyle and entertainment public relations agency of record. MWW will manage national lifestyle and entertainment media relations initiatives for the Volkswagen brand in the U.S. market.

AUBURN HILLS, MI—Volkswagen of America has appointed MWW Group as its lifestyle and entertainment public relations agency of record. MWW will manage national lifestyle and entertainment media relations initiatives for the Volkswagen brand in the U.S. market.

“It’s time to expand our public relations outreach efforts in lifestyle and entertainment media,” says Kerri Martin, director of brand innovation for Volkswagen of America. “MWW Group has a successful track record with other iconic brands and has a demonstrated ability to translate a brand’s business goals and objectives into creative public relations strategies and programs.”

Volkswagen sells the Rabbit, New Beetle, New Beetle convertible, GTI, GLI, Jetta, Passat, Passat Wagon, Touareg and Phaeton through more than 600 independent U.S. dealers.
