HOUSTON—Vollmer Public Relations has added three new educational accounts: Austin College, Harris County Department of Education Cooperative for After-School Enrichment (CASE) and the University of Houston.
“Our education practice is filling the gap for those institutions and agencies that want to go a step further in their strategic marketing and communications initiatives, but may have limited internal resources,” says Helen Vollmer, CEO of Vollmer Public Relations.
Austin College is a private, coeducational, liberal arts institution that has retained Vollmer to to launch the college’s new international leadership award program and to conduct consumer and trade media relations activities to generate nominations for the award. For Harris County Department of Education Cooperative for After-School Enrichment, Vollmer has conducted a communications audit and is developing a strategic marketing communications plan. And for the University of Houston, Vollmer identifies opportunities to define the University as an institutional leader, and to emphasize its appeal as an institution of choice, not convenience.
