STOCKHOLM—Burson-Marsteller has appointed Petra von Rohr as chief executive of its operations in Sweden. Von Rohr takes over from Anders Bylund who will become chairman and leader of the company’s EMEA crisis practice.

Von Rohr was until September 2008 CEO of Remium, a leading investment bank focusing on small cap companies in Sweden. She has previously held leadership positions at the PR agency Patriksson Communication and the advertising agency Graceland Stockholm, where she worked with a large number of leading Swedish and international companies as her clients.

She began her career as a financial analyst initially within the equity research team of Cazenove & Co in London and subsequently at UBS in Stockholm where she was rated by Reuters as the third best analyst in Europe covering the retail sector.  In 2007 a leading Swedish business weekly, Affärsvärlden, listed her as one of the top 30 business people under 40 in Sweden.
