LOS ANGELES—W2O Group has acquired Arc2 Communications & Media, a boutique healthcare consultancy based in Los Angeles.
Founded in 2012, Arc2 is led by Christine Cassiano and Andrea Rothschild, who launched the firm after previously heading H+K Strategies' West Coast healthcare team.
"We view Los Angeles as the content capitol of the world," said Jim Weiss, chairman and chief executive officer of the W2O Group. "Our view is that the best agencies will be as innovative in content creation as they are in analytics or software. Christine and Andrea represent key steps in our plan to innovate and challenge the status quo in how we entertain, consume and share content in any industry."
Arc2 joins W2O Group's network of agencies, which includes WCG, Twist, BrewLife and W2O Ventures, across 11 offices in the US and Europe.
"We’re joining the W2O team to reinvent how we communicate, create content and innovate for clients from healthcare to entertainment to global brands," said Cassiano and Rothschild in a joint statement. "The talent in the greater Los Angeles area combined with the level of innovation occurring from start-ups to studios is important to tap into to develop 'what’s next.'"
