MUMBAI: Waggener-Edstrom has confirmed its launch in India, as revealed by the Holmes Report last week.

The agency opens its 17th international office backed by global client BMC Software. It has also conducted some interesting new research into digital investment plans among Indian corporates.

According to the study, conducted in partnership with Blackbox Research, Indian companies currently allocate only 21 percent of their budgets to digital efforts. However, 90 percent say their businesses will increase digital communications efforts in the next 12 months.

It is this shift that Wag-Ed is hoping to target, particularly through its WE Studio D unit, which provides digital, measurement, and insight and analytics group.
