LONDON--Waggener Edstrom has hired Nic Shaw as editor-in-chief at its London office.

Shaw joins from Haymarket Media Group, where he led the publishing company's creative solutions team, delivering editorial and promotional campaigns for such clients as Acer, BMW, Canon and HTC.

Previously, he spent two years as managing editor of Stuff, and has also edited global customer titles for Toyota and the McLaren Formula 1 team.

At Wag-Ed, Shaw is charged with developing compelling content across print, digital and video channels. He reports to Jon Silk, head of Wag-Ed's Studio D unit in the UK.

“Nic further strengthens our award-winning creative capabilities and brings a fresh perspective in both consumer and B2B content production,” said Silk. “Our integrated approach to the research, design, build and activation of content is becoming ever more strategic for our clients, and Nic will play a vital role in driving Studio D’s continued success.”
