SEATTLE—Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has expanded its reach into the Middle East through an agreement with NettResults Public Relations, a Dubai-based media relations agency that is joining the WE Global Alliance program. This agreement is designed to provide WaggEd with a strong local presence and capacity in a growing region and allow NettResults access to a network of international capabilities.

“As the importance of the Middle East marketplace continues to grow, it became clear that we needed a presence in the region to better service our clients,” says Claire Lematta, president of global expansion at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide.

NettResults CEO Nick Leighton says the Middle East “is a growing focus and priority for international companies. The region has an exciting blend of established and growing markets, including energy, tourism, investment and consumer goods, and many of our Middle East clients are expanding their focus beyond the local market. Joining the WE Global Alliance will create strong new business opportunities for us, while also expanding our client service offerings in the form of international capabilities.”

Founded in November 1999, NettResults works in the tech, financial, energy, real estate and healthcare sectors, and has clients in both the corporate communications and consumer marketing arenas. Headquartered in Dubai, it has offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Cairo.
