WASHINGTON, D.C.—Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has formed a global public affairs advisory council, naming four distinguished experts in the fields of public affairs, public policy and issues management as founding members: Daniel Caprio Jr., former president and current senior adjunct fellow at the Progress & Freedom Foundationl; Larry Irving, president of the Irving Information Group and former assistant secretary of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration; Gary Locke, partner at Davis Wright Tremaine and former governor of the state of Washington; and Lance Tarrance, founding partner of RT Strategies public opinion firm and former president of Gallup China Research.
The advisory council will provide strategic counsel to WE’s Global Public Affairs Practice and its clients on a range of issues affecting business, government policy and public debate.

In the near future, the council will be expanded to include members from Europe, Asia and Latin America.
