SEOUL—Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has agreed to invest in Shout Communications Korea, an integrated marketing and communications agency that specializes in the technology and consumer sectors.

Established in 2003, Shout Communications Korea employs a team of more than 50 consultants, led by managing director Jessica Kim. The agency’s clients include more than 40 domestic or global companies, including Adobe, Avaya, Hitachi Data Systems, Intel, Nortel Networks, RedHat, Siebel Systems, Webex, and Western Digital.

“As one of the most connected and progressive markets in the world, Korea is a hub of innovation and one of the strongest economies in Asia,” says Melissa Waggener Zorkin (pictured), Waggener Edstrom CEO, president and founder.

Kim cited the growing importance of digital and social media and the strength of Waggener Edstrom in that space as a major factor in the deal.
