Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has named James Sun as general manager of its Hong Kong office and vice president of its Technology practice in Asia Pacific. Sun has corporate, agency and journalism experience.

HONG KONG—Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has named James Sun as general manager of its Hong Kong office and vice president of its Technology practice in Asia Pacific. Sun has corporate, agency and journalism experience and brings significant technology and corporate communications expertise as well as in-depth experience with large, global brands in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Australia.

Sun joins Waggener Edstrom Worldwide Hong Kong after serving as vice president of corporate and technology practices at Ketchum in Shanghai, where he worked on accounts including FedEx Corp., General Electric Co. and Eaton Corp. Before his time at Ketchum, he was vice president of key accounts, Greater China, and general manager, Hong Kong, for Text 100 Public Relations. Earlier in his career, he worked as a manager of the marketing and communications department at Texas Instruments.
