WASHINGTON, D.C.—Energy expert Lew Watts has joined crisis communications specialist Regester Larkin as a non-executive director. Watts, who is based in Washington, D.C., will oversee Regester Larkin's presence in the North American market and build its offering to the oil and gas sector.
Watts has more than 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry, having held a range of executive and consultancy positions, including at strategy consultancy PFC Energy (as president and CEO), Halliburton Energy Services (senior vice president) and Shell, where he was executive director gas and power for Africa and South America, as well as vice president for global upstream strategy and economics.
In addition to his role with Regester Larkin, Lew currently sits on a number of advisory boards in the U.S. and Europe. In 2009, he was chair of the World Bank’s external expert panel on climate change, energy access and energy security.
