Weber Shandwick Adds Six Unilever Brands

Weber Shandwick has been named agency-of-record for six Unilever brands, including all laundry detergent, Q-tips, Mentadent toothpaste, ThermaSilk hair care products and Degree antiperspirant and Ragu, one of Unilver’s Bestfoods brands.

CHICAGO, July 17—Weber Shandwick has been named agency-of-record for six Unilever brands, including all laundry detergent, Q-tips, Mentadent toothpaste, ThermaSilk hair care products and Degree antiperspirant (all part of the packaged goods company’s home and personal care division) and Ragu, one of Unilver’s Bestfoods brands.
 
The product marketing work is being handled out of the firm’s Chicago and New York offices. Weber Shandwick’s co-presidents of consumer marketing Gail Heimann (in New York), and Cathy Calhoun (in Chicago), are leading the Unilever account.
 
In addition to Unilever, the Weber Shandwick consumer marketing practice includes well-known brands such as Milk Mustache/got milk? campaign, Kraft, Harley-Davidson, Elizabeth Arden, Dunkin’ Donuts, Campbell’s Soup and Burger King.
