NEW YORK—Weber Shandwick has added Bestfoods’ Skippy brand to its growing roster of Unilever clients. The firm’s co-presidents of consumer marketing, Gail Heimann in New York and Cathy Calhoun in Chicago, lead the Unilever account, and the two offices will work together on Skippy.

“Weber Shandwick’s team showed an unbeatable passion for the brand,” says Trish Zenobi, senior brand manager for Skippy. “Their experience in integrated campaigns, new product launches and access to the nutrition community is unsurpassed. Plus, the team has a successful track record delivering results for Unilever brands.”

With the addition of the Skippy brand, Weber Shandwick’s portfolio of Unilever brands includes Suave, Q-tips, ‘all’ laundry detergent, Caress, ThermaSilk hair care products, Degree antiperspirant, Bertolli, and Ragú. Unilever is one of the world’s largest consumer products companies with annual sales of approximately $48 billion in 2003.
