Weber Shandwick Leads European SABRE Finalists

Weber Shandwick tops the list of European SABRE Awards finalists, with programmes submitted by the agency racking up an impressive 20 nominations, considerably ahead of its closest competitor Edelman, with 12 nominations.

LONDON—Weber Shandwick tops the list of European SABRE Awards finalists, with programmes submitted by the agency racking up an impressive 20 nominations, considerably ahead of its closest competitor Edelman, with 12 nominations.

 

There were multiple nominations for several other leading firms, including Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (11), Fleishman-Hillard and Pleon (9 each); Ketchum (8), Burson-Marsteller, Porter Novelli, and Blue Rubicon (7 each), GCI Group, Hill & Knowlton and Publicis Consultants (6 each), Manning Selvage & Lee (5), and Brands2Life, The Red Consultancy (4 each).

 

More than 250 finalists in more than 50 categories were announced following judging sessions that took place in London over the past two weeks. The winners will be announced at our fourth annual SABRE Awards ceremony, which will be held at the Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice on May 22. The Holmes Report’s European Consultancies of the Year will be recognized at the same event.
