Weber Shandwick Veteran Fletcher Joins Racepoint

Ellen Fletcher, formerly a senior vice president in the Cambridge office of Weber Shandwick, has reunited with former colleagues Larry Weber Marijean Lauzier at technology, health and science PR firm Racepoint Group.

WALTHAM—Ellen Fletcher, formerly a senior vice president in the Cambridge office of Weber Shandwick, has reunited with former colleagues Larry Weber Marijean Lauzier at technology, health and science PR firm Racepoint Group. Lauzier is the group’s president and chief executive and Weber runs Racepoint parent company W2.

Fletcher has joined the firm as senior vice president and will provide counsel for media relations campaigns and drive new business efforts.

Fletcher has worked with emerging and established brands for industry recognized corporate positioning and technology support in telecommunications, digital imaging, enterprise software and hardware.  She also created and directed North American positioning campaigns for economic development agencies for Scotland, Taiwan and Nova Scotia to differentiate their offerings in life sciences, software development, financial services and semiconductor sectors. 

Before joining Weber Shandwick, Fletcher served as vice president and general manager of the Boston office of Alexander Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. Prior to Alexander Ogilvy, Fletcher was a senior vice president with Golin/Harris International.
