WeissCom Taps Martini to Lead Corporate Practice

Healthcare communications specialist WeissComm Partners has named Amy Martini executive vice president, and co-leader of its corporate and investor relations practice in New York office, working alongside managing director Jennifer Gottlieb.

NEW YORK—Healthcare communications specialist WeissComm Partners has named Amy Martini  executive vice president, and co-leader of its corporate and investor relations practice in New York office, working alongside managing director Jennifer Gottlieb.

Martini joins WeissComm from Porter Novelli Life Sciences, where she served as executive vice president and co-led the creation of the life sciences practice. She previously led the life sciences practice for Edelman, and was general manager of Noonan/Russo Communications’ financial communications division as well as working in-house at Acorda Therapeutics and Advanced Tissue Sciences.

At WeissCom, Martini will partner with Daryl Messinger, executive vice president of corporate communications and investor relations in the firm’s San Francisco office.

In addition, the firm has added four associates: Andrea Campbell from CV Therapeutics, where she was a senior analyst in the investor relations department; Geoff Curtis from Abbott Laboratories, where he served as public affairs manager in the pharmaceuticals products division; Brian Reid, a former Bloomberg reporter; and Katherine Stueland, formerly with TAP Pharmaceutical Products, where she served as head of public affairs.
