White House Internet PR Expert Joins PSI

Mark Kitchens, former White House assistant press secretary to the president and director of Internet media relations, has joined Texas-based public affairs specialist Public Strategies.

AUSTIN—Mark Kitchens, former White House assistant press secretary to the president and director of Internet media relations, has joined Texas-based public affairs specialist Public Strategies, where he will focus on further integrating Internet technologies into the firm’s strategic communications and public affairs efforts.

Kitchens, the first-ever White House Internet press secretary, served as the primary spokesperson and principal advisor to the Clinton Administration for the Internet media. At PSI he reunited with his former boss, Mike McCurry, who was named president of Public Strategies Group after leaving the White House in 1998.
