WASHINGTON, D.C.—Widmeyer Communications has added two new clients to its preK-12 education client roster. The U.S. Department of Education’s National Math Advisory Panel and the National Vocabulary Championship, sponsored by GSN, have chosen Widmeyer as their agency-of-record.

The U.S. Department of Education established the National Mathematics Advisory Panel to advise the President and the U.S. Secretary of Education on the best use of scientifically based research to advance the teaching and learning of mathematics. Widmeyer will work with the NMP to develop and promote strong, high impact research reports and to help introduce the NMP and its work to education audiences throughout the country.

Widmeyer will work with GSN to launch the nation’s first National Vocabulary Championship.  Activities include message development, media outreach, and strategic partnership development. GSN is the only U.S. television network dedicated to game-related programming and interactive game playing.
