Winer Named GM of Fleishman-Hillard Chicago

Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has named Maxine Winer as the new general manager of its Chicago office. Winer, who brings more than 20 years of communications experience to her new role, will oversee the firm’s Chicago operations.

ST. LOUIS—Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has named Maxine Winer as the new general manager of its Chicago office. Winer, who brings more than 20 years of communications experience to her new role, will oversee the firm’s Chicago operations, with particular emphasis on providing senior strategic counsel to clients, recruiting staff and driving the office’s new business initiatives. She succeeds Cynthia Hardie, who recently retired from the position.

 

Winer will report to Susan Veidt, president of the firm’s central U.S. region. She comes to Fleishman-Hillard from Edelman, where she served as deputy general manager and led the reputation management practice in the firm’s Chicago office.

 

She previously has held positions with Manning Selvage & Lee, PNC Mortgage Corp. and The Financial Relations Board.
