NEW YORK—Gavin Anderson & Company has appointed Richard Wolff as executive chairman, North America. Wolff will be located in New York and will be responsible for building the firm’s North America business, which spans the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He will report to Richard Constant, Gavin Anderson’s worldwide chairman and chief executive and will serve on Gavin Anderson’s worldwide executive committee.
Wolff joins Gavin Anderson from Huntsworth, where he was the founding chief executive of The Global Consulting Group, an international investor relations, corporate communications and public affairs consulting firm, and served on Huntsworth’s executive committee. He led Global Consulting until its merger in 2008 with sister agency Grayling.
Prior to Global Consulting, Wolff spent five years at GolinHarris International as worldwide managing director, financial communications, where he established that practice area. He began his communications career with Kekst & Company, where he was a partner for 12 years. His consulting expertise is in financial communications, corporate positioning and crisis communications, and public affairs.
