WongDoody Communications has acquired Los Angeles-based Faiola Davis Public Relations, adding a strong California presence, technology expertise and a client base that includes Symantec, Alpine Electronics and Buena Vista Games.

SEATTLE—WongDoody Communications has acquired Los Angeles-based Faiola Davis Public Relations, adding a strong California presence, technology expertise and a client base that includes Symantec, Alpine Electronics and Buena Vista Games.

WongDoody Communications, launched by decade-old advertising agency WongDoody in Seattle in 2002, enhances and protects organizations through a strategic communications approach to problem-solving and the creation of opportunities. Faiola Davis Public Relations is a 10-year-old full-service agency specializing in communications for personal technology companies that has a reputation for strong media relations work.

Five Faiola Davis employees have become members of WongDoody Communications. Heidi Davis, one of the firm’s founders, will be a consultant to WongDoody, while co-founder Sara Faiola is departing the firm to become a full-time mother.

WongDoody clients include the Washington State Department of Transportation, Virginia Mason Medical Center, Orca Bay Foods and the Economic Development Council of Snohomish County.
