Worldcom Admits New Partners in Europe and Asia

The Worldcom Public Relations Group, an international network of independently owned public relations counseling firms, has added four new agency partners, including firms in Denmark and Sweden.

BANGKOK—The Worldcom Public Relations Group, an international network of independently owned public relations counseling firms, has added four new agency partners.

In the Asia Pacific region, Worldcom has added PR Plus of Hong Kong, which specializes in consumer, lifestyle and sports marketing and serves clients such as the Macau Grand Prix, ESPN STAR Sports, TaylorMade Adidas Golf, Subaru and Michelin; and TOCS of Tokyo, which specializes in information technology and healthcare and works for Cirrus Logix, Oracle, KPMG, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, and GlaxoSmithKline.

In the Scandinavian region, the group has added PrimeTime Kommunikation of Copenhagen, which serves international clients such as Vaillant, Bayer, Canon and Fiat, as well as leading Danish brands such as Bang & Olufsen and LEGO; and Time PR of Stockholm, a firm that focuses on the information technology, telecom and home electronics industries and works with 3Com, Plextor, Pinnacle Systems, Sharp and Nortel.

The network also named Tom Van Blarcom of TQPR in Bangkok its new chairman and Diego Biasi, president and general manager of Business Press in Milan, Italy, as chair-elect.
