WPP public relations agencies Cohn & Wolfe and GCI Group have merged to create a new global agency singularly-suited to the transformed communications environment. The new firm will operate under the Cohn & Wolfe brand.

NEW YORK—WPP public relations agencies Cohn & Wolfe and GCI Group have merged to create a new global agency singularly-suited to the transformed communications environment. The new firm, which will operate under the Cohn & Wolfe brand “offers a powerful combination of breakthrough, brand-building creativity and pioneering digital and social media strategies,” according to Donna Imperato, who will serve as chief executive officer and GCI’s Jeff Hunt, who will be president.
