WPP PR Revenues Up 10 Percent in First Quarter

WPP Group reported public relations and public affairs revenues up by a healthy 10 percent in the first quarter of 2008, compared to overall revenue growth of around 5 percent for the company as a whole.

LONDON—WPP Group reported public relations and public affairs revenues up by a healthy 10 percent in the first quarter of 2008, compared to overall revenue growth of around 5 percent for the company as a whole. The company is parent to international public relations firms Burson-Marsteller, Cohn & Wolfe, GCI Group, Hill & Knowlton and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as well as numerous specialist firms.
