NEW YORK—Public relations entrepreneur Eric Yaverbaum, whose firm Jericho Communications was sold to kirshenbaum + bond and merged with its Lime public relations subsidiary last March, has launched Ericho Communications, a new virtual firm that has picked up six accounts in its first six months.

Yaverbaum says his new firm will target companies that “think profitability and social responsibility count.” Ericho’s accounts include Hy-Drive Technologies, Juice Energy, and the new documentary Garbage! The Revolution Starts at Home, along with latest additions Velosecure’s Identity Finder and LoyalTV.

“I’ve called in proven ‘stars’ of my past who agree with my philosophy and want to work in a different way,” Yaverbaum says. “It’s a real thrill to be able to begin working again with some of the people who worked with me from my early years and helped build Jericho. I want to create a lean, ‘best in class’ virtual consultancy.”

Yaverbaum founded Jericho Communictaons in 1985 and merged it with Lime in 2006. He is the author of three books, including Public Relations for Dummies.
