Gibbs & Soell Wins Consolidated Syngenta Business

North America

Holmes Report 02 Oct 2011

GREENSBORO, NC—Agribusiness and biotechnology giant Syngenta has named Gibbs & Soell Public Relations and Martin Williams Advertising agencies of record for its agricultural business in the United States. Both agencies were incumbents.

Syngenta previously had separate advertising and PR agencies for its crop protection and seeds businesses, but announced earlier this year that it would fully integrate those businesses to focus on the customer and develop technology solutions under a new business structure organized by crop. That decision led to a consolidation of agency responsibilities.

Gibbs & Soell has worked with Syngenta Crop Protection and its legacy companies since 1971, while the seeds brands had been handled since 2008 by Weber Shandwick.
